Waratah Golf Club (WGC) ladies are a friendly group and welcome new members of all standards; ladies with low or high handicaps as well as beginners.  Tuesday is ladies' competition day and is organised by the Women's Committee.  All competitions are played in various formats e.g. Stableford, Stroke, Par, Team events along with special occasions including Open, Gala and Charity days.

5 or 7 Day Members:
Five (5) or seven (7) day women members can play in the Tuesday competition as above, but also in Medley/Mixed competitions run by the Pro Shop on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. A seven (7) day member can have access to the Saturday competition. These memberships allow for participation in the Women's Club Championships, GNSW competitions and consideration for Women's Pennant teams.

9-Hole Competition

A 9-Hole mixed competition is also available to members on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, run by the Pro Shop.  These events will be open to any full paying member. Players who are not full paying members will be required to join the Club as Social Golf Members, which will also entitle them to play six (6) full rounds of 18-Hole competition during the Social Golf Membership year; as well as being eligible to compete in the 9-Hole event.  Players will play holes 1-9 and then make their way back to the Clubhouse to submit their scorecard.

Ladies Beginner Golf Clinics are for women who feel they are not ready to play competition golf or just want to "give golf a go".  This course covers the basic fundamentals for beginner golfers and lays a brilliant platform for them moving forward.

Visitors with GA handicaps are very welcome to play in our competitions.
In the meantime you can view current and past editions of “Down The Fairways”, the WGC Women's' Newsletter bringing members up to date with all that is happening on and off the course.

All WGC Women Members' competition results can be viewed under the Golf tab, Competition Results, at the top of the page. It is anticipated that these results will be published at the end of each day or no later than 10:00 am the following day.

If you are a Facebook user, make sure you 'Like' the WGC page which you can also view on the Results page.

Good Golfing!
