Fairway renovations have progressed well this week, minimal damage to the surface and 50% completed, the cores from the renovations have been spread over tree roots and bare areas around the course.
An application of a selected herbicide for the suppression of couch in the greens and kikuyu encroachment from the surrounds was completed this week, multiple applications are required during summer to have any effect.
Finally Edgeworth Treatment Plant can supply recycled water to the course, perfect timing with fairway renovations underway.
Thank you to the volunteers for their effort the last two Tuesdays mulching down from the cart shed next to the 18th green.
Focus next week will be completing fairway renovations, needle tining of greens with the Pro-core, edging and weeding of bunkers.
